No, this isn't another bout of unscheduled downtime - we're updating some aspects of FictionAlley tonight instead!
We should be back up and working on November 30. For updates, visit this blog, which you can also find at http://fictionalley.blogspot.com/ or follow us on Twitter or LiveJournal.
Also, since there's seven months to qo before the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part Two in movie theaters, is anyone interested in helping organize a group re-read of each of the seven Harry Potter books, starting in mid-December with one per month, through mid-July? Comment to this post or email us at help@fictionalley.org if you're interested in helping.
I would definitely be interested in helping organise a group re-read. It sounds like a wonderful idea!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand what's going on. You said you updated the site yesterday but I could read my stories yesterday and now today (Nov. 30) when you said the sight would be available I can't read anything except the blog. I only want the stories not the news. When will the site really be available? Thanks
ReplyDeleteWhere are the stories? :(
ReplyDeleteJaime - November 30 isn't over yet; we started the work about 12 hours ago, and expect to be working throughout the day today, because it's a long process. If there are no glitches we should be back up later today, and we will update this page and our Twitter at http://www.twitter.com/fictionalley if it takes longer than we expect.
ReplyDeleteWould be interested in such a group as well!
ReplyDeletecan't wait for the site to come back up, and interested in the reading group!!!
