The Cursed Child discussion forum is open in FictionAlley Park - as of now the spoiler policy is in effect until August 10, 2016 but we may change that to August 2.
Was it magical? Was it everything you expected? Let's flail, squee and discuss it together.

Cursed Child Update

Tickets go on sale this morning (UK/US time) for Harry Potter & the Curesed Child, which opens on the London stage late next spring - and we've opened a thread for discussion of rumors, clues from the summary, and eventually, "canon-chat" - including a new poll. We'll have a Googledoc soon where you can list the dates you're going, so you can coordinate for dinner between the shows with fellow fandomers.
Did you get tickets during the pre-sale, or are you trying today (or both)?
What do you think of the play summary?

Harry Potter & the Cursed Child

Harry Potter & the Cursed Child - NOT A PREQUEL - text on a blue background. We were already thrilled beyond all imagining because of Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, which will be in movie theaters around the world in November of 2016.

And then, JKR surprised and thrilled us with news of a stage play - Harry Potter & the Cursed Child which she notes is "not a prequel".

It'll be on stage in London at the Palace Theater next summer; we're definitely planning on going!

What about you?

I'm also very excited to confirm today that a new play called Harry Potter and the will be opening in London next year.
